Unfortunately we've seen a handful of our fellow makers stop selling to Germany because of the new laws regarding packaging and recycling that took effect on 1 July of 2022. We understand and empathize with them. As a tiny business, any extra expense and set of forms one has to fill out is daunting!
The good news is we have registered with the Verpackungsregister and will able to resume shipments shortly. Because the fines for non-compliance are severe, we want to be sure that everything on our end is ready to go. This should take no more than a couple of weeks. We will make an announcement when we are able to resume selling to our friends in Germany.
